Jamie and Byron’s May wedding was such a blast! They were married in the backyard of their family’s beautiful home in Maryland, and we couldn’t have pictured anything more perfect for this down to earth couple. The weather was beautiful and sunny, which set a perfect scene for their lovely day. They planned a fun, energetic celebration for their big day, and it went off without a hitch. We loved getting to bring a special air of exciting energy to their reception.
After a really sweet first look, and spending a few special moments together, it was time for the ceremony. The wedding arch they built was our favorite part of their ceremony. Eclectic and absolutely beautiful, it was built with branches, flowers and carefully draped with a sheer white fabric. It created the perfect romantic and intimate atmosphere for their outdoor wedding ceremony. Their guest list was rather intimate, as well, with only their closest friends and family in attendance to witness their commitment to each other. We loved every bit of this ceremony and are so happy for this sweet couple! There’s just something about a small, backyard wedding that we just really love!
Once their ceremony was over, it was time for the party to begin! Their reception was held in a tent in the family’s backyard and was so perfect and true to their theme throughout the day. We loved that they proved that you could have a gorgeous, romantic and traditional wedding without blowing the budget out of the water. The newlyweds were introduced and had their first dance to Max’s Lights Down Low— so romantic! You could see their love for each other written all over their faces during their first dance— they were so happy and laughing the whole time, it was such a joy to be a part of!
After they finished the traditional wedding reception activities, the sun set and the dancing began! The couple’s guest really knew how to have a good time, and we enjoyed bringing the party for them! A mix of hyped, energetic music kept the crowd energized all night long, and they all had so much fun!
Jamie and Byron’s wedding day was so much fun for us, and we really enjoyed working with the couple. They made it so easy for us to make their wedding reception an event they’d remember forever, and we’re so grateful we got to work with them.
