Originally operated as a mill, Mt. Washington Dye House has a past dating back to the early 20th century. In 1923, it was acquired by the Maryland Bolt and Nut Company, where it became a hub for the production of metal fasteners until 1989. Today, this historic space has been lovingly restored and transformed into a premier event venue, blending rustic wood beams, exposed brick, and distressed concrete floors with modern architectural touches. This venue offers over 5,000 square feet of interior and exterior space, providing couples with a variety of options to tailor their celebration to their unique vision.

What is the most unusual or unexpected wedding you’ve ever had at your venue?
We have an upcoming wedding that will feature two baby alligators (the bride works for an animal rescue - they will come with handlers!)
What’s the wildest thing a couple has ever asked for?
I honestly can’t think of anything! Most of our couples are very chill and just looking to have a fun and beautiful wedding day!
What’s one thing you wish people knew about running a wedding or event venue?
That we don’t control the weather ;)
